This week we are so excited to have Charlotte Zoller on the podcast! Charlotte is a curve model, digital strategist and writer who has her own column in Teen Vogue called “Ask A Fat Girl.” We talk about “body checking,” the categorization of fatness and self identification along with the problems and prejudices that those in larger bodies face both systemically and in daily life. She discusses the difference between fatphobia and fat bias and the importance of holding brands accountable as we move towards a more inclusive future. This episode is informative and super helpful in determining the individual’s role in continuing the movement towards body acceptance.
